AT FOR A CHILD, we provide your child with a fun, loving, and nurturing atmosphere while at the same time providing a stimulating environment by introducing materials and activities that are developmentally and age appropriate for your child's optimum growth and development.

INFANT PROGRAM - 6 Weeks to 18 Months: We recognize that each child is unique with a unique schedule. We communicate closely with you, the parent, in making every effort to incorporate each child's home schedule into their routine at FOR A CHILD. We believe that maintaining low child to teacher ratios assists in providing children with a sense of comfort and security.

TODDLER PROGRAM - 18 Months to 36 Months: Our Toddler Program is separated into two classrooms: 18 months to 27 months and 27 months to 36 months. Our younger toddler classroom is designed to encourage independence, develop a positive self-esteem and self-help skills. Daily positive communication with teachers promotes your child's thinking and communication skills. Our older toddlers' classroom is designed to further enhance your child's learning experience through encouraging self-expression, discovery and social interaction while at the same time fostering their independence. In both toddler classrooms, your child's environment is one where a wide array of activities are incorporated through sensory, play and creative experiences as well as field trip experiences. With guidance and modeling from teachers, your child is encouraged to utilize their self-help skills and exercise manners throughout the day.

PRESCHOOL AND SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAM: At FOR A CHILD, our multi-age Preschool and School-Age Programs are designed to provide your child with a wide array of activities which continue to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. Lesson plans based on themes of the week are expanded upon to encompass all areas of learning. These activities are incorporated through providing sensory, creative and play experiences as well as field trip experiences. With guidance and modeling from teachers, your child is encouraged to utilize their self-help skills and exercise manners throughout the day.
